Sounds good bud.......your old adversary Scott Livingstone is kicking a lot of ass in the Over-50 division.

Stay focused bro!

It's funny you mentioned Scottie. Two weeks ago we were at the Border States and my fiance' points out on stage "isn't that your friend" I looked and said damn, that IS Scott. He wound up winning the Over-50 masters, so after he got off stage he goes and sits in the front row, I get up from my seat, go and sit by him, he turns to me, I turned to him and first freaking thing that comes out of his mouth after 20+ years of not seeing each other is......"Fuck, you got old", I almost fell out my seat I was laughing so freaking hard....LOL!!

Coach, you must be doing the Excaliber?  We will be there. We go to all the Jon Lindsay Shows. Excaliber is a kick ass show, big local show.

Wes, Scott Livingstone does kick some ass. He is a blast from the past, I think the guy won lightweight class at the USA twenty five years ago or something. But I see the guy at every show. He always kicks ass in the masters. Good conditioning for his age especially.

Catch up to you guys later, I have to take my daughter out Trick or Treating now! take care

yes, first show in 17 years. Scott told me he did 7 shows this year after him not competing for along time, I think he won most of them.

Thanks for keeping in touch guys

I have a bit more than two weeks to go and its going great. Im going to tighten up more as  when its time,  I  will cut down the water and should be ready when I need to. The beenie is good luck! believe me.  I get my cholesterol and blood pressure checked regularly. All the cardio keeps me in shape.  Anyways, keep a look out for me! peace!

IMO you should not change anything?, you don't need to tighten up anymore?? you will just end up losing muscle in these last 2 weeks, just maintain what you have now!, don't fuck it by trying to get even tighter cause IMO you can't get much more tighter then u are.  If you're ready 2 weeks out then keep it that way, i don't know why guys feel then need to try and come in even tighter when they already have shredded glutes 2 weeks out?  You will end up looking smooth on contest day.

sooner or later youll have to take it to next level if want to place in pro show,,genetic responsd is average but whast you did with this genetic is superb,,this is what bodybuilding should be this guy right here,,never the less get the doses and the not so clean food ready for the pro level,,you will have to bring it at 175-180lb on pro stage to even dream about top 5,,and if you dont make it this time around to a pro card try to eat less clean part of the year ,, you need to add more muscle for pro circuit 07 in anycase
this is best amatuer physiqe ive seen on getbig to date with a very average genetic,,good for you my friend

C'mon now, we have our agreement and our disagreements.....this is one HUGE disagreement!

try to eat less clean part of the year

As much as we (society) loves their junk, there is NO physiological reason to eat less clean, the less processed foods, the better, the cleaner the better, eating less clean is like pouring salt into a gas tank, eventually it begins to breakdown and running less efficiantly. This is not speculation, this is FACT!

Alex this thread is on another level my friend...you are in uncharted territory for any message board, we have never seen this combination of conditioning, level-headedness and willingness to DISCUSS.  Congratulations, this is progress for the sport overall; I'm sure of it.  I'm telling you, you're on a plane none have seen yet; just incredible...

Note how there is nothing but respect in this thread.  That's right children, the grown folks are talking!  This is great, man...seriously, congrats.  You've got Squadfather bowing down, you've got gh15 handing you his own brand of number one labeling, you've got Wes saying "PRO CARD FOR SURE," bro you're in the zone, STAY THERE.

Viewing every picture my mouth dropped after saying "FUCK."  Ha Ha...

MattT's right when he says it looks like changing ANYTHING would only turn it south at this point, but I know you know better than any of us how much more is possible...see we look at that and can't see anything left to get off, but you in that shell must can surely dream more, which is again a VERY UNIQUE perspective that you've achieved here.

PROPS bro.

coach i think what gh15 means is not to stay lean all year roiund..as it is easy to gain muscle and fat rather than jus pure muscle..for that u have to eat some chinese, japanes... ;D

I dont count my calories, i really dont count carbs. I just weigh my food. I know what my body needs and I adjust accordingly. I eat about 400 grams of carbs per day. Thats alot for a guy 160ls. I eat, only white rice, and  oatmeal with brown sugar for carbs. Steak, chicken breast, turkey breast, eggwhites and lately salmon.

Flavo is 4'10" and during his contest preparation eats 400g to 500g carbs and 2hr cardio per day, the cardio is very important.

You look great, Alex.  I have a lot more respect for guys that eat clean all year and make it a lifestyle than those who just get in shape when they have to.  I don't think that should be what it's all about.  If someone really loves the training and the lifestyle they would never let their BF % go over about 10 or so.  There is no reason to do so and it reeks of a lack of dedication, IMO.

Im going to get back to the other posts soon, but i have to respond to this.

Bro, I appreciate that. It is a lifestyle for me. I enjoy looking lean and looking like a bodybuilder, thats what bodybuilding is all about. Its about training, eating clean and looking like a bodybuilder all the time.  Its about being healthy and looking fit. I will never be a massive guy, so I want to make the best of what i got. My off season look is not that drastically different then I am now. Since the start of my diet and I have lost about five lbs.

I'm right there with you all the way.  I think a VAST majority of guys use the "off-season/bulking" claims as an excuse for being LAZY and not dedicated enough to live the lifestyle year round.  People that put on 30+ pounds of flab just because they aren't mentally strong enough to eat clean and do cardio year round do not love bodybuilding with all their heart and soul.

After seeing Cutler at this year's Olympia, do you think he's spot on on conditioning and diet 24/7/365?  Hell no, and it's his damn JOB.

People can say anything they want, there is no physical reason to get fat as hell during an "off-season"...ZERO.  It's an excuse to eat like a pig and not do cardio because someone isn't mentally strong enough to be dedicated to fitness ALL YEAR.
