pork and beans, cheeseburgers, pizza, cokes, whole eggs, donuts, sipped coffee during workouts, 30 sets per bodypart, lots of 225 for 20-25 rep bench sets, lots of dips, lots of arm work, lots of going out at night dancing, freak of nature.

Here's a quote from Sergio Oliva from one of the muscle magazines I have...

"I never took a steroid until I started competing in the Mr. Olympia contest. Dianabol gave me a boost, but I didn't like taking it. I knew it couldn't be good for me. I used Deca and Winstrol. Winstrol made my veins pop out so much I thought something was wrong.

So there you have it, folks! Straight from the horse's mouth.

Can be done if you are hydrated and it would make you look like a cartoon character. Coffee does dry you out.

Make sure it's black coffee.. no dairy.

Try several espresso shots with ephedrine.. crazy stuff. Of course I stopped after a week as it felt like too much for my heart, but swear I was a pound lighter. Stimulants should be cycled.. I reintroduce a stimulant after a 1 1/2 week break and it works like the first time around.

I see a few fag-s drink those cold cappuccino drinks while doing cardio.  Suburbanite twigs that actually think they are kicking it into high gear drinking that shit.   ::)

how Sergio was training at his prime ? (in early seventies).

from his rare training video and from magazines,we  know  about his training in early eighties,- many sets, many reps, light weights, partial reps...

sometimes i hear versions, that Sergio had to train like this because of all his injuries(shoulder problems, triceps tear and so on).,and earlier in his career he was training with very heavy weights and low reps.
is it true ?
somebody know for sure about his training in early seventies?

I dont know if its true that Sergio worked in either a meat packing plant or a butcher shop back in the 70s but Arnold did say that in the pump room Sergio would hide under a long white butchers coat until it was time to hit the stage. In a bunch of articles he talks about working in a steel foundry. The guys genetics were just freakin insane!

the problem is,that most interviews and his workout observations was taken in eighties, where Sergio had to train with all his joint surgeries and tears...

and i saw ONLY ONE training article from early seventies.

from which i understand that early Sergios training was absolutly different -earlier,he used very heavy weights and low (5-8)reps.
IS IT TRUE ?

I have a strong, big cup of black coffee about 15 mins before my workout, on top of which I take 2 x 100 mg caffeine pills and 1 tablet of Ephidrine, which is the only banned substance / 'supplement' I use most of the time. To me Ephedrine is a naturally occurring alkaloid that's harmless in the doses taken, and not a synthesized drug.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that while that does amp me up, I also drink Iced tea during the workout, to get a sustained release of caffeine. And it's water based. My guess is, if Sergio was drinking coffee, it must have been black coffee, pardon the pun ;D
