HAHAHHAHHaHA, Did I touch a nerve? and I forgot ,divide those 15 minutes between two teams (offense and defense)
because american football has the best athletes in the world Two weeks ago Kevin Willians (Vikings)needed Iv and oxygen, after running 70 yards, he almost diedAverage duration of an NFL game = 180 MinutesAverage amount of time for timeouts, halftime, huddles, reviews, etc = 165 MinutesAverage amount of actual game action in an NFL game = 15 Minutes.
I think Bo was a great athlete, but i also think he juiced. His injury was to his hip, not the femur. Alot of speculation that it was steroid related.
I'm old enough to have seen Bo play . . . and also old enough to remember that his injury was as serious as it was b/c there was something wrong w his femur naturally. if you're liable to lose a leg playing a sport, you can't be the best pure athlete in my book. and plenty of people get horse-collared w/o having their goddam hip pop out. and to the adrian peterson nuthuggers. I'm a huge fan . . . but the kid's still in his rookie season . . . and has a history of injuries.
This is the same type of tackle that broke Terrell Owens' leg... I guess he's genetically inferior too... as well as all of the other players who have been injured by it... Whatever you say dude.
That's just silly, it was a freak injury. You're going to hold it against him?As far as him being the "best athlete ever" that's really a matter of opinion
No, no no....you cannot make that comparison to a reciever, Williams is a defensive tackle who weighs about 310lbs, he was NEVER conditioned for those kind of runs. Most linemen are only conditioned for about 10-15 yards at the most and are not cnditioned fo 70 yard runs....he's 310 for Gods sake!!
you'd have a point if TO hadn't come back and had a career game in the goddam superbowl. think . . . it's good for you.
that's what he had . . . it was a predisposing condition.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avascular_necrosisnever mind. it was a freak injury.
The cause of the injury is still the same... I think just fine... It's you who is refusing to connect the dots so to speak. It just so happened that TOs injury wasn't to the same area as Bo's... it broke his leg differently... It could have easily been the same.
Avascular necrosis was the RESULT of his hip socket being torn, it's not congenital dummy
could have . . . if my dad was mickey mantle and my mom was babe didrikson, I could have been the greatest myself.
Jim Brown........
seems like you could make a case for it. he's past his prime, and still far better than anybody in a league full of specimens.
anyone who says nfl players are not the greatest athletes in the world is retarded...name a sport with more gifted athletes...and dont tell me some olympic dude who swings on bars or shit like that
