i dont keep any gains what so ever, dont try to. i hate working out serious and dieting constantly, theres more to life. Ill dedicate 12 weeks to a cycle, training, dieting etc. and i mean ill really dedicate my time for that 12 weeks, never cheat on the diet, never miss a day in the gym, cardio twice a day etc etc, but then at the end i pretty much stop everything. I'll eat junk, get to the gym maybe once or twice a week at best, i lose alot of muscle and bodyfat goes up. So i guess i never really progress in a way, i always look the same at the end of the 12 weeks on as i did 6 months ago when i did the same thing. I love it though, i have so much motivation for that 12 weeks and im honestly in heaven..seeing gains and the body changing so quickly, due to the gear and muscle memory combined with such a shock to the body from the change in diet, training...its so motivating seeing the body change so quickly like that.
