My wife does the day to day cooking ( ) but on the weekend when it's time for some serious man food, I'm usually the one to don the apron. I've often found that's its the nerdy types (like plumpard) that live off McDonals and twinkies and can't do shit in the kitchen, and it's the manly men who throw down with the the big steaks and racks of lamb. Anyone whip up some killer meals recently? I whiped up an awsome taco salad last week: guac, sour cream, olives, freash lettuce, piles of cheese, salsa, ground beef, black beans and tortia chips!! That shit was off the hook.
i been considering a lobster stuffed with a taco,with a serloin as a side dish.bench
i cook anything and everything, steaks, burgers, chicken parmesan, meat loaf, prosuitto wrapped chicken, all types of ethnic rice dishes, my homemade spaghetti sauce, fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, fettucine alfredo, you name it.
Damn dude, you put me to shame!! My specialty is probably breakfast: french toast, omlets, eggs, shit like that. It sounds simple and plain, but I'm a fucking master of eggs over-easy and they are heaven if done perfectly (hint: brown the butter first)
Do you mean a taco stuffed with lobster?
hahahhaa, yeah i make all the breakfast shit too, pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, i like scrambled eggs, cooking isn't that hard.
I saw your marinara sauce in the other thread. Do you ever make a meat sauce? What kind of meat?
yeah i make it all the time, basically have your sauce already made first and starting to boil on the stove and then pre heat a fdrying pan and halfway fry up some meatballs, pork butt, pork shoulder, salciccia, ground beef, veal or whatever you like, just brown it on both sides and then throw it in the sauce and let it cook with the sauce, tastes delicious, the pork really gives it the flavor.
Shit, that sounds tasty. Italian sausage is good too.
