What everyone seems to forget is that baseball wanted these guys jacked to improve attendance and get fans interested again after the strike. It was not until a couple years ago after pressure from the government that they START testing for steroids.

Not siding with the athletes nor saying it was right, just a fact that they were encouraged to do well no matter what they had to do...that comes from actual MLB players.
