Now, let's go to unconventional oil . . .
First, let's look at the following study:

According to the study, there is an estimated
1.2 trilion barrels of oil in Venezuela's oil sands, and an estimated
2.2 trillion barrels in Canada's oil sands, for a total of
3.4 trillion barrels.
I will be conservative and say that only half of that will ultimately be recoverable. That still gives you
1.7 trillion barrels.
Then there are western oil shale deposits described in this article
here. According to the article, there are an estimated
1.5 trillion barrels of oil there. Once again I'll be conservative and say that only half will ultimately be recoverable. That gives us
750 billion barrels.
In addition, there are an estimated
60 billion barrels of oil in the waters around the Falkland Islands. This is an area which is being
actively explored.
Now, add 'em all up . . .
