(Nov. 11) - What do Rhett Butler, Obi Wan Kenobi and Dirty Harry all have in common? Each uttered one of the ten most quoted lines in movie history.
A new survey conducted by MyFilm.com , a Web site run by the UK Film Council, asked 2,000 people which movie quotes they used most often in their day-to-day lives.
"Our research shows the huge influence films have over people, from life-changing experiences to the way we speak," MyFilm concluded.
Interestingly, all of the top ten lines were spoken by male characters.
"These phrases are popular because they're aggressive and full of action. No wimps allowed," Los Angeles psychologist Robert Butterworth told the Washington Times.
