The ones sitting on my plant shelf..

Jim Beam still sealed in the original bottle. They are from 1954 and were aged over 100 months before bottling.. That's the shit, I drank one bottle when I first got them and it was so tasty. Never had whiskey that had that wood flavor so good and smooth.

I have a bottle of 1954 Gold Medal Jack Daniels - that's not a bad drop either

Have you drank any of that? Where did you get such a score? I have always wondered what the value would be on the bottles that I have.. I would guess I have close to 20 of them al sealed and never touched.

"Whiskey" is a very broad term- you have several worlds embraced therein, all fun to explore

Scotches- further divided into single malts (further divided into different regions and flavored caskings), blended and vatted

my favorite: Laphroaig (30 year old if I have the $$$)

Bourbons- small batch and general production

Irish

Canadian whiskeys

Rye Whiskey

Tennessee Whiskey

Someone got it for me duty free - I'm not sure if it is the original 1954 or a copy, but a damn fine drop anyway.

Johnnie Walker red and black and I once bought a 750ml bottle of green label..

I hate bourbon whiskies.

Sorry to crash your party with my lack of experience with spirits.

Can't stand the red - black and green are very good though. Blue and Gold are nice also but overpriced.

Laphroaig is a lovely whiskey - I've only ever tried the 10 year old. Takes a bit of getting used to with all the smoke and all.

Johnny Walker Blue label is good stuff.

Can you believe that some restaurants charge up to $40 a shot? Crazy.

When I was at a lay over in Puerto Rico, I bought two bottles for $125 each at a duty free shop. The stuff retails for $250 in most liquor stores in the states.

Anybody try the new Crown Royal RX??

I've been wanting to try the new crown one, probably similar to gentleman's jack.  Bushmils is really good, as is jameson.  If i have to have a staple, its JD, but all bourbon whiskey i love, and all scotch whiskey i do NOT love in the slightest.  Crown on the rocks is amazing though, and jack and coke is a great drink as well, but i use diet coke or else its too sweet fo my liking.

Stuff is like aged 50 years.. Even sought after in my culture, tells you a lot..

Chivas Regal is good stuff, again, usual liquor store stuff, but that's all I've drunk.  ;D

Is that what's called, the Crown One? I thought it was the Crown Rx or something. Whatever it is, a buddy of mine wants me to get it for his birthday. Anyone know how much it is?

What is your culture? Arabic, I'm guessing based on your name?

The Blue Label is popular for you guys, huh? I don't blame you. It's good shit.

The 10 is good stuff. They call it the "love it or hate  it" scotch. There are some idependent bottlings of Laphroaig which are fun to try as well.

Whne I graduated law school, I gave my father a bottle as a gift.  In classic "old man" style, he nursed it for about four years!
