For a while now only two things still piss me off.
1. The Music
Maybe it's just me but when I was in my early 20s, every gym was playing hard rock, heavy metal, rap. etc. Today it's all top 40. Just last night I took off the iPod for just a second and they were playing Jessica Simpson. I asked one of the guys at the front what the story was and he said that "they have to play it cause it won't offend anyone."
It sucks cause some exercises you have to take the headphones off to do.
2. The Trainers
Now I'm not perfect by any means, but are more and more trainers not only looking like shit but are major assholes. There maybe 4 trainers at my gym, and 2 of them are a little chubby. Not Orca fat but they don't look like someone that is PAID to get people into shape. But I can deal with that more so than nearly every trainer I've met is an asshole. Incredible ego, shirts two sizes to small, talks to friends WAY too much and usually doesn't help anyone just stands with the other asshole trainers.
I can deal with the jerk offs and tough guys. They will NEVER go away. But a business should take pride in itself by having some decent workout music and people that give a damn helping those that need it.
