I'm for it in cases like convicted killers to try and find bodies of victims, or to help find abducted children. Why not, if it provides credible info then why not?

I'm for it but not sure what you would get from a rapist. I don't believe in doing it just to do it, but if there is onfo to obtain why not try it. Like I said, missig children, undiscovered bodies etc...

So we have one active military person for it.  One against it.  It's 2 to 2 in the thread.  Down the road, as I see this presented in the media, effective and not torture, there is indeed a chance it could be used in regular law enforcement to obtain answers in an interrogation.

if they have been sentenced to death what does it matter what it is called.
