HCG expiration myth
« on: November 13, 2007, 06:43:10 PM »
I'm writing this in case someone is thinking of throwing out their expired HCG.

I ordered HCG from 2 different sources and it never came, so I started on some HCG I had sitting in the fridge for few months. I mixed it so I could take it during a cycle, but after a couple of shots I changed my mind.

It seems to be working, even though it should be expired. I'm thinking that HCG expiration might be a myth.
I just started on the expired HCG, so I'm going to suspend final judgement, but it looks good so far.

HCG lasts 60 days when mixed with bacteriostatic water. At least some brands say that. If mixed with plain water it should be used pretty much immediately.

It's mixed with bacteriostatic water and it has been over 60 days.

It may not be at 100% potency but it is not at 0% either.

Yeah, the exp. date is the date it's guaranteed to be of full potency. Obviously it doesn't degrade completely overnight.

HCG is used in pet birds for controling feather picking in nesting females and its used for treating cystic ovaries in cattle.  I've used expired HCG for both of those conditions (in the bird because the dose is so low and in the cattle in an effort to save my clients some money) in a couple of my patients.  If its more than 30 days past the expiration date, effectiveness decreased significantly.

Just something to think about.

Exactly.

it might still "work" but it's not as potent.

I used some that was prolly aabout 90 days, it still had noticable effect.

My problem with HCG is I start to get nausea after about a week on it.
Its not age related to teh stuff being mixed I found.

I cant do it for extended periods, to hard on the stomach.

If you want to know if it's still good, take a pregnancy test the morning after injecting. While I haven't actually tried this, it should work in theory as most pregnancy tests bind an antibody to the beta subunit of hCG, which is naturally produced by the embryo and later placenta post conception.  Basically, hCG is produced when a girl gets knocked up and that's what the tests look for.

I really thought HCG put my recovery a step backward once at end of cycle. I know my body well and how it reacts to all this stuff.

HCG works best for me right after a heavy run of androgen, then after Mr Nuts swell back up from the HCG; I like to go into Test Prop and mild anabolics for a couple months or so.
You can still keep the intensity and volume up, while the estrogen producing stuff clears out.
It (Androgens) dont just go away overnight. DO the 1/2 Life divisions on a Gram. It takes about 17 weeks to hit 0.00X.

I tried HCG at the low doses on androgen cycle and didnt like it at all.

1000-2500iu is what Ive tried, and prefer simply 1000 iu every third day. That alone will run you about a month of ass-Kicking workouts or other hard physical body abuse without a hint of preformance breakdown. (30 days From a 10,000iu vial)   Then on to the mild stuff for a slow come off of everything.

Thats best/ fastest route to recovery for me.

Oh, the nausea gets me after awhile even onthe lower 300-500iu doses after about 2 weeks, so I like to keep it short duration on the steroid mfg'd from pregnant womens piss .
Thats how I ended up with expired HCG. I couldnt stomach it anymore.
