Ohhhh, I thought "you guys" said soda like "us guys". Some peeps just say coke!

well "some guys" do say soda or coke, but our major grocery store (Wegmans) calls their brand of soda Wpop because pop is said by so many of "us guys" here in Rochester at least.

Ahhhh, yes, "you guys" over in Rochester do say pop. "Some guys" would consider soda to be club soda and tonic to be similar. I've always considered pop to sound sweet tasting....i dunno why.

In the movies it's always soda, if I remember correctly.

They never really drink it, and leave almost immediately afterward. $:-\$

Up in Canada, we call it "pop", ...but whenever I'm in the states, I try to remember to call it 'soda pop' so there's no confusion.

there really are only two types to worry about. Diet Mountian Dew and Diet coke. Who in their right mind drinks anything else?

When I lived in Michigan I called it Pop but since I have moved away I call it Soda.
