What a great period in bodybuilding!! WABBA still exists today----has contests in Europe and sports some very impressive physiques, yet never sees the light of exposure in North American based muscle magazines. I loved Sergio but Fox does have superior conditioning and harder legs. Where Sergio dwarfs Bertil is the back quite obviously. Fox had exceptional muscle density and mass he should of beat Samir in the Olympia in '83. Fox still inspires me for his sheer muscle mass and physical might in the gym.

in this show sergi was bigger than fox . his arms bigger his taper better . bertil calves are just a bit better than oliva . sergio was amazing at this show .

bertil is holding his own against sergio, sergio blows him away though in that victory pose with his arms over his head. no one in bodybuilding even today can match that pose of sergio imo. those where some great days

How come there was no vascularity around in the 70's? Bertil had a bit, but nothing unusual. Different drugs?

There is over a decade difference of when Sergio and Bertil hit their peaks. For Sergio, it was the mid to late 60's. For Bertil, it was late 70's-early 80's.

some of the years i think this contest surpassed the olympia as far as quality of contestants. i think the other year was even better than the year you posted.
