Haha I only remember him from MuscleTech ads, but I guess that means he must have had some sort of impact.

The guy had so much potential what a waste.

He said that he would never touch Slin or HGH still with his genetics he would be top ten at the O

Matt Mendenhall great structure anyone no why he retired.

Nah ... I don't think so. He probably was sickened by what he had to do ... what he had to sacrifice ( of course I'm referring to the Financial, Mental, and Physical part of Bodybuilding ) in order to Win Shows ( if not place High consistently ) for maybe, what he felt, to be an unfair amount of Money. Of course, I could be wrong. As far as I know, he went back to School in order to pursue a Degree ... you certainly can't fault the man for doing that. And for all we know, he could very well compete again in the Future. Just my Two Cents.

Competed year after year after year and never got his Pro Card. Became fed up with Bodybuilding ... lost motivation and basically gave up ... in that respect, I don't blame him one bit. Also heard he was an Alcoholic.

Vic Richards is one that always comes to mind.

Most of the "up-and-coming" MuscleTech spokesmen.

On the Strongman scene:

Chuck Fish.
Chuck Ahrens.

Mark Henry.

Most of those guys never lived up to their potential.
