There should be a fat tax nationally, IMO.  The government should have laid one down years ago.

1.  Not all politicians are fat
2.  They can pay the tax just like everyone else
3.  It's ridiculous that this country's health care system is stressed to the hilt by people who've eaten themselves into medical conditions.  People whine about illegals contributing to health care costs...they are a DROP IN THE BUCKET compared to people who eat themselves into diabetes, heart disease, etc.

Exactly.  As long as it's based on actual bodyfat percentage, awesome idea.  (BMI is the stupidest thing anyone ever came up with...  it's as though they ignored the fact that muscle has weight to it.  )

Now, the airline thing is stupid.  I was thinking you raise income taxes 10%, then if you come in and get your bf% measured at 15% or better, you get back twice the increase as a refund.  Sort of an income redistribution from the fatties to the in-shape to help offset our health insureance premiums the fatties are driving up!

1. Illegals cost billions more than what they bring in so they are a problem.  In states like AZ, hospitals lose $2 million/week in free health care to illegals.

2. Cut off services to fat people.  Don't give out handicapped placards, free or discounted

3. Charge them more for airline seats.  If their gut goes in my seat I want it comped and the fatty can pay for it.
