FIRST Rule of competing at the NPC Nationals
« on: November 19, 2007, 06:58:09 AM »

(or in any other show where you need to stay in a hotel)

Always, always, ALWAYS strip the sheets off your bed the moment you arrive and replace them with sheets you've either brought from home or picked up at the local Target or whathaveyou.  The same goes for towels and pillowcases.

Housekeeping at the Fairmont had a field day ringing up dirty linen charges over the weekend.  The largest single-room bill I've heard of so far is $150.  Has anyone topped that?

I'd probably object to what appears to be shitstains on my linen too.

Bodybuilders are awesome because they believe the ProTan they leave everywhere is the duty of others to clean up.

By all means, leave as much cum as you want on your sheets, brown just doesn't quite cut it I'm afraid.

Ah that sucks!  ;D

There wasn't a reminder on the entrance form about this?  When I did the teen nats in PA they had a form SPECIFICALLY telling us to bring our own sheets to avoid this problem
just not good enough

I can't remember the organizations name but they had a show at the Hawaii COnvention Center several months before mine.  The room I used for warming up and for the contestants was the same one this other group used.  The person who walked me around the center when they took me to this room they told me about the group before.  It cost the hotel $14,000 to re-carpet the room and clean the walls.  It had ProTan everywhere.  So I had to give them a deposit just for that room.  I then had the entire room lined with plastic.  The floors and walls.  Plus I had people in there to make sure none of the BB's leaned up against the walls.  Plus, the hotel I used they used too.  I guess that other group sat all over the lobby and got tanning shit everywhere including the floors and furniture.  And of course their rooms.  SO I made sure every competitor knew that all cleaning charges were going to be charged to them.  It can be very expensive to clean up after a show

I believe it was arvilla who said that he recommends lying down brand new shower curtains on hotel beds, and sleeping on those, to avoid those pesky costs that Protain brings.

This must explain why he keeps those ancient mold encompassed curtains on the shower at his apartment.

I thought this went without having to mention, but...............

Bring DARK sheets from home to lay down...take the comfortor right off and put it in the closet....

I always wore black spandex long sleeve top, full leg bottom to bed...kept the color where I put it, no chance of any getting on anything....

Not smart as you will wind up sweating...

As already mentioned, bring your own goods, dark sweats and shirt, black socks etc etc

this is crazy, what other sport has to go through this. get rid of this shhhit.

It just adds to the public perception of the sport being filled with fakes and freaks.

does anyone know why they even started with it and why it has increased since the 80's?

I say ban it all together. use normal flood lighting  no harsh spot lights.

When describing dead skin and body fluid, how much is a "shitload?"
You can use the amount of both contained in your stained "Texas A&M" hat with the frayed bill as a baseline.

Yeah, worry about that when your injecting various drugs into your body, and shoveling pounds of readmeat into your system on a daily basis. All the while severly dehydrating your body during contest time, and blowing out your thyroid from all the dramatic weight loss/ weight gain, but premature aging is a no-no (lol) oh brother...

$20 for eggwhite Omlette

$12 veggie platter. etc.

$28 chicken breast plate

My favorite is the $5 egg
