Yes, but on both of these issues, his Dem combatant will be MORE sympathetic to homosexual or abortion issues.  In other words, he isn't going to steal many gay voters from Hilary.  The vast majority of people who are gay or like abortion are Dems.

The point is Rudy will attract Democrat voters.

You hate hilary so much you'd vote for a guy who admits he lied just to get votes.

What low standards you have, dude.

Mitt admitted he lied about his positions to trick the people of Mass into voting for him.  When in office, he passed legislation which helped abortion rights.  Then, he suddenly flipflops, and admits he was lying all along, every time he looked voters in the eye and tol dthem he supported right to choose abortion.

He lied about supporting the killing of babies, mang.  And he ADMITS it.    And you'll vote to make him the most powerful man on the planet.

Yes, me and my "low standards"  ::) will vote for anyone but Hillary.  I'll take Romney over Hillary any day of the week.

I'm not alone.  I guess you haven't looked at Hillary's negative poll numbers.

I know she has some of the highest disdain ratings we've seen in a decade.  It's been talked about for a long time.  I think she's selfish for running - an edwards or gore or kerry or dean or Dodd would be far less disliked.

But, thanks to their "we love this war!" platform, we're going to see 1 of 2 things happen:

1) Mitt/Rudy get destroyed in national election as they are championing a way that only 25% of country wants

2) Mitt/Rudy CHANGE POSITIONS again, and suddenly don't like the war anymore come wartime.

Of course, those are the 2 most likely courses of actions.  Maybe Bush will end the war in Oct 2008 (scale back significantly) as the pentagon announced earlier this year.

I doubt other countries pay close attention to our political campaign ads.

I think it's very clever.  Shows that the man has a sense of humor.  Now all he has to do is express a working knowledge of football and he has my vote wrapped up.    :)

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.   :)

GOP Presidential Hopeful Mike Huckabee Says Next Terror Attack 'Postmarked Pakistan'
Sunday, November 25, 2007

COLUMBIA, S.C.  —  Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee carved out a corner of South Carolina's biggest annual sporting event Saturday, drawing a throng of supporters to a college football tailgate appearance with former pro wrestler "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

"We're going to have some fun throughout the campaign and I think that's what will help us to win when it's all over," said Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor who also has been endorsed by actor Chuck Norris.

Huckabee, speaking alongside his wife and former South Carolina Gov. David Beasley in a stadium parking lot before the University of South Carolina took on Clemson, touched briefly on foreign policy and taxes before posing for pictures and shaking hands with supporters.

Huckabee said he thinks the next terror attack on the U.S. will be "postmarked Pakistan" but said he believes that nation will continue to cooperate with American anti-terrorism efforts. Still, he added, "If there is an imminent threat to the American people, then I think it is the responsibility of a president of this country to do whatever he has to do to protect you, me and the rest of us standing here."

The Southern Baptist minister also took a swipe at GOP rival Mitt Romney when asked about the former Massachusetts governor's opposition to abortion.

"He's come along. Even if he's a little late, better late than never," said Huckabee.

Flair, known for his "Whooo!" yell, said Huckabee has the best vision for the country. "He likes to see people enjoy life," Flair said.

Huckabee brushed aside questions about which South Carolina team he was backing, preferring to focus on his Arkansas Razorbacks' upset win Friday over No. 1 Louisiana State University.

Referring to the Razorbacks' rallying cry, he said, "Just remember that the first part of 'Whooo, pig, sooie!' is 'Whooo!"'
