The big difference is Rocky didn't stand there and cuss and insult the Board, nor did he take every chance he got to bad mouth the other competitors or those who run the organization. Sure Lee sat out his suspension, but you wouldn't put a small piece of cancer back into the body after trying so hard to clean the rest of the body of cancer. There's something to be said for keeping your mouth shut and letting your actions speak for you.
Calling a spade a spade...yeah, Lee said things in connection with the IFBB(as an organization) but he didn't bad-mouth other competitors. He called things as he saw it. At least he was man enough to stand up for his beliefs. To get screwed over that, goes to show who the cancerous cell is. It is not Lee Priest but the IFBB. They are "eating" away at the sport, some competitors have made a mockery of bodybuilding. He did keep his mouth shut for 12months. He played by their rules...but in the end they decided NOT to play fair. They are vindictive and controlling. The IFBB is not a democracy. They are the dictators of bodybuilding and as with all dictartorships they are ruining it for future generations.
Unfortunately this is not a movie, where you can have a perfect ending. Or say things on cue. There is no script to follow. The only thing Lee has done, was to follow his heart. To make decisions for himself.
Everyone has a right to live his own dreams, his own life accordingly. No one on here is qualified to judge Lee, but all of you have done so. It is easy to sit behind a computer and throw stones. To crucify someone for who and what he is. Walk in Lee's shoes for one day and then make judgements. Until then...beware of those stones...they have a tendency to bounce back.
