Um maybe not 4am but my mom is up and out by 6am on that morning...i think people who shop look at this as a challenge.

I seen a commercial for Walmart selling movies for like 2.97 and video games for 20 bucks!!! DVD players for like 30 bucks as well...wtf

I don't think it's a bad idea. I just don't like the people that camp in tents and trample each other to get in the mall; that part just seems dumb.
