QB - Colt Brennan is underrated, not overrated.  Brohm is overrated.  So was Quinn.  So is pretty much every QB to come out of Miami, Florida, and Florida St. the past 15 years or so.

RB - Very impressed with Luke Lippincott of Nevada.  Downhill runner.  He's very good.

WR - Two UH WRs who will play on Sundays are underrated:  Jason Rivers and Davone Bess.  Ryan Grice-Mullins might get there too.

CB - That kid from San Jose State is pretty good (Dwight Lowery).

LB - Remember this name:  Adam Leonard - UH linebacker.  He will play on Sundays.  One of the best tacklers I've seen.  Beautiful form.  Great size, speed, toughness.

I'm partial to my team too so I won't create an argument, what with all the personal attacks you give people.   ;D  Lippincott impressed me in the UH game.  It's always funny seeing a good white running back because there aren't many.  The Navy grad from the Pats impressed me this week.

lol.  I'm an attack dog mang.  I have people melting down all over the board.  :)

Yeah, prominent white RBs and corners are a rarity.

Tune into the game on Friday (UH v. Boise).  The stadium will be nuts.  I'll be on here Friday night or Saturday morning either talking trash to SinCity or whining like a big baby.  :)

I have to support my boy Ian on BSU but other than that I'd say I'll be watching with little bias.  Should be good.  Even with a win I doubt BSU will hit the BCS #12 spot.

Depends.  If they blow us out (unlikely) they might get in.

Ian is a good RB.  Won't be any marriage proposals by Boise players after this game.   :)

All Hawaii QB's are overrated. It is the system more than anything.

Kind of like Cal QB's.

Not true.  Have you seen Colt Brennan play?  Watch the game Friday on ESPN and the Washington game the following week, also on ESPN.

Yes I have. He is good.

But as far as a QB from HI actually be a decent pro qb, we have to wait and see if Colt can be the first.

If you're talking about QBs from the June Jones era, there haven't been very many.  Dan Robinson (1 year), Nick Rolovich (1 year), Timmy Chang (4 years), and Colt Brennan (3 years).  Before that, we ran the option (not counting the Von Crappen year).

None of the other QBs are in Colt's class IMO.  None of them completed 70 percent of their passes or had his TD-to-INT ratio.  Also, Brennan is going to break the career TD passing mark on Friday (he is one away) in only three seasons.  He's a special player.

Well he could be the first. I hope he's a good kid and has a lot of success at the next level. It's just that the history of the other HI QB's that has me thinking otherwise.

Legit concern, although we've only had one pro QB prospect before Colt (Timmy Chang).  So there really isn't a history.

The thing about Colt is he is a leader.  The entire team (and state) follow him.  That is a huge quality to have.  His arm is as good as any quarterbacks and his accuracy is unreal.  No matter how weak their schedule is you can't do as well as Colt and the Warriors have done unless you are a great TEAM.  Would love to see how they would do against a top ten team.  The Warriors work great together.

Well said.  I agree.
