Lou's reputation as an asshole is so universal that whenever I see him at Gold's nobody goes up to say HI.  He could be the second most loved person in all of bodybuilding, but his bitterness prevents that.

I'd love to shake Lou's hand and say, "I knew of you before I knew of Arnold. I'm a bodybuilding fan because of you."  But no.  I just take a good look at one of my heroes and then walk away.
