My daughter just came and asked me to have a talk with my son. She asked him to help in the kitchen. He told her that on Thanksgiving it's the woman's job to make the food and the man's job to watch football. She was very upset. So, during a timeout, I asked my son if he really did make those comments. He nodded, a hint of trepidation on his face. I then gave him some dap and almost got choked up.
I have raised him well.
