I admit, it looks good, but I have known (and known ;D) guys with bodies like that and they don’t have the speed or range of motion that I (want to) have.  In other words, they are not what I would consider athletic.  In that sense, the physique is not ideal.  :-\

That’s a legitimate question.  It comes down to lifestyle.

The guys I have known who look like that simply do not move the way I want to move.  They waddle, move slowly, some have labored breathing doing simple tasks. etc.  When I think of the things I have done in the past, am doing now, and want to do in the future (surfing, kite surfing, biking, running, hiking, etc.) being that size is inconsistent with the physical prowess I want and need.  One doesn’t often see guys like racing on bicycles or playing tennis for example.

It’s the difference between functional and cosmetic muscles.  On my body, I want functional muscle.

To look like that without juicing is impossible for me.

Dont think
I can be much bigger while staying at
low bf levels
and without juice.

So I am stuck looking like this  :(   :

Aww poor you ...haha

functional muscle... unless ur actually an athlete, where does that apply? i mean, aslong as u can do the daily things like walk, jog a bit if need be, open things and lift heavy objects if need be, ur sweet. it comes down to priorities.

Tyvm for the encouragement.
To answer some of the questions I can say that I have
very crappy stats.
And a wider waist than many of the pro BB´s claim to have.

Some people have exactly the same stats as me with same BF%
but look completely different, like one of my friends that you will
probably see in UFC in the future 2009+

Just as a imaginative example:

If me and Chuck Liddell had the same stats and BF%,
we would look very very different.

although I like the builds of the 70's better, truth is those full round muscles are the result of oral steroids.

they used to pop them like candy not knowing the physical and mental dangers, probably more dangerous than what the guys do today.

Thats why so many of them had short careers.

For someone who spent his life studying physical stress he really couldn't handle the mental side of it.
