Question About Guy in Pumping Iron

In the begining of the movie when Arnold goes to the gym and says he wants to "start building some muscles," there's a guy standing behind the counter eating an orange who Arnold refers to as 'Big Tony'.....Who was that guy?  Someone well known in the scene back then, or just some giggling oaf eating an orange?

That guy was awesome and clearly stoned to the fullest! I asked this question about a year ago here and heard he was a guy who liked to fight. Basically all I remember...

He was our resident pharmacist if you know what I mean.  And yes he was Joe's enforcer.

That's Tony Nowack or Nowak, he also designed the Arnold Classic jackets and some stuff for the Special Olympics.

big tony was laughing at Arnold's T shirt.  Notice Arnold is wearing the Arnold is Numero Uno shirt, but they just don't show the front because they are saving that for the end of the film
