I was 3 times in Egypt and everytime was awesome, culture of Egypt it breath taking .
That photo of Nasser and the pyramid.. is awesome.
That pyramid is HUGE...... I would love to go there. But no time soon.
I am not going to bring my kids to any country where I feel it is not safe.
Bro you have the wrong ideas about Egypt, yes it's closer to the melting pots like Iraq and Iran but Egypt is very save let me assure you why:
Everybody in Egypt makes his money with Tourism, remember the time when they killed gunned down the Tourists at the Temple in the Valley on the Queens way way back? Tourism dropped to 0% in a matter of days, nobody made any money and people were litterlay starving.
Now they take care of you, there is Police and Military everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE, but you cannot trust them to put their life in danger for you but the locals are the once that will do anything to protect their income... and that is you.
They will actually tell you not to go to certain areas, I have been stopped by the cops and told to go back because I wanted to go to little bit poorer region in some town in the country.
It's foolish to think just because Egypt is close to Iraq it is automatically unsave.
