I'm sure as soon as they turned around Dorian owned Paul from the back. If all you had to do was look great from the front Paul would have been a 10 time Mr Olympia but you have to have a back, hams, and calves to win also.

Paul had a decent Back as well as superb Hamstrings and Calves. Just my 2 Cents.

I would agree on photos alone i never thought he was that special.

Then i discovered Youtube and Dorian is a monster on stage in motion in 93,94 i think he beats Ronnie in his 98MrO Form and his 2001 Arnold classic form.

Its a pity Dorian tore so many Muscles but that proved his work ethic was Phenomenal.

I cry when i think how good Flex good have been with Dorians work ethic.

I saw Dorian compete twice and he got owned both times - Levrone, Taylor, Dillet and Sonbatty out-classed him. He beat them in 2 poses ONLY:- Front and rear lat spreads.

Was 3 times actually thinking about it - 92/94 and 95. 92 he was shredded and pretty complete, 94 and 95 he appeared small and pale and couldn't compete in any poses that showed arms!!

So he was not in contest shape thats the only reason i ask is because his arms were pretty good up untill he tore them.(When i have no clue)

Agreed; his only significant weakness was back detail, leaving him more complete that most other BBs including Yates.

Sounds about right. The rest was politics that factored in skin color and marketability.

Dorian still looks old and washed out. Some may say he is now supporting that 'lean look'. In my opinion he just appears jaded and dishevelled.
