No one's saying that you cant have an opinion or say "I don't think she's attractive"......etc. But the derogatory and classless comments WILL be deleated and the one doing it warned, then banned.....

There's a line that doesn't need to get crossed...seems some people here can't figure out the difference between "free speach", and simply acting like an asshole.

I'm with Bob and Ron on this...this kind of thing, as many of you are aware, has irritated me a good bit for a long time.

How many times are you gonna parrot the "fire in a crowded theater" line?   Get a clue, Bob... restrictions on speech are permitted in cases like the ones you cite where that speech would lead to panic that would cause imminent physical harm.  "Opinions" that could cause "hurt feelings", on the other hand, are exactly the type of statements that are protected.

Now since Ron is not a government entity and owns the board he can make any rule he wants, and here it really comes down to what he will and won't allow, but you really need to stop trying to make justifications beyond this by misquoting Oliver Wendell Holmes and applying the concept to things it most clearly does not apply to.

Even though you talk a good game and fool a fair number of people by doing so, there's no question in my mind that your IQ is in the double-digit range.

It's Ron's board and he sets the rules, I'm not disagreeing with that.  My point is that's all you have to say.  Equating speech that would cause imminent physical harm with speech that would cause hurt feelings or speech that you don't happen to like is a very bad analogy that not only misses the point, but also implies that governmental authorities could put restrictions on such speech, which of course they can't.

So let me get this straight, you are stating that anabolic steroids are not drugs. Not too mention insulin, growth hormone, Lasix, and synthol. Of course you can take anabolic steroids legally. An example would be a frail cancer patient who just received his chemotherapy. Likewise, people with congestive heart failure need to take diuertics. Both of these individuals obtained these drugs legally from a doctor, since they needed to take them for medical reasons. However, Bob you took, or even still take anabolics illegally. You are really insulting the intellect of GetBig readers by implying that you took these drugs legally. Bob, you broke the law and still may be breaking the law, and hence you are a criminal. This is not a "baseless attack," I am simply stating a fact. Explain to me how you are not a criminal? Openly state that you have never taken anabolic steroids without a medical need for it.

Bob, you need to think before you speak. "go threaten" contains the word "threat" which implies possible future harm on an individual. That is against the law. Simply commenting on someones physical attributes is not a threat. You really need to educate yourself more, both in your overall vocabulary and the knowledge of your organization. Start by TRYING to explain your own anabolic use. I would first start by reading the IFBB anti-doping policy, from 2006, found here http://www.ifbb.com/DopingControl/IFBBAntiDopingRules_2006Edition.pdf  Not only are you a criminal by Ameican law, but you are breaking the code of conduct of the organization that you are a part of and respresent. Please explain to me how you have never broken the code of conduct set forth by your organization?
