How do pro bodybuilders do it
« on: November 29, 2007, 09:22:14 AM »

I have often wondered how do their bodies take all those injection shots year after year, the body only has so many injection sites and after a few years you develop scar tissue and it becomes painfull, they must have a high pain treshold.

My guess would be cycling the injection sites and using fresh needles because they can quickly get dull. Also the best genetic bbs don't need to use as much to look their best.

They don't for long, competitive pro bodybuilding isn't exactly a long term career.

26g needles don't hurt. You don't even feel them. :). And even a runt has 1000's of injection sites.

please always use a fresh needle, every single time.  use two:  one large gauge to draw the liquid into the syringe, then a smaller gauge to inject.    needles are cheap and readily available.    then use a gatorade bottle or other clear plastic bottle with a wide mouth to store the used ones.

I knew a guy back in NC that did this, got an abcess in his thigh, and had to have a huge chunk of meat removed.  His quad will never look normal again.
