I bet Barry Bonds can't wait for this one to come out , yikes.
10-15 years ago, I would have been psyched to see the attention steroids are getting. For those of us in around the world of muscle , we look at this stuff as old news.
Plus, the amount of hype and misinformation the media gives in regards to steroids does more harm than good.
Having said that, pro bodybuilding continues to follow the "do nothing about drugs and hope this goes away attitude",with real legal issues in sight.
Do I think this will turn into an even bigger witch hunt? Yes!
Do I think it will stir up a bunch of crap that will indict a lot of bodybuilders and IFBB brass? yes.
Do I think anything good will come of it? NO!
Sadly, as the expansion of shows for 2008 begins, the cloud of uncontrolled drug use hangs over our beloved sport. The reality is that "we" in bodybuilding have not lifted a finger to help regulate our own sport. I fear that the "FEDS" may regulate it for us, and they won't play nice.
