Yeah, but she's still in her 20's, has no kids, and in show business. She's always in the public eye no matter what her celebrity status is these days.

Celebrity does not dictate fitness level. She can be fat or skinny. That's not what defines an actor. Atheletes yes but not actors.

I don't know BSB. She is not Hillary or Meryl. Her job pretty much depends on her looking good. It's not like she is old, I think she is like 29 or so. If she remains fat and The Ghost Whisperer gets canceled, she is gonna have a hard time finding work.

Wrong. Your appearance and looks means everything when you're in show business. She's always been a twig with big tits and now she's gotten fat. Her celebrity was created based on her looks because it sure as shit wasn't based on her acting. (Unless you consider "I know what you did last summer" a great flick.)
