Regarding Mike O'Hearn... natural v. juiced. I've known Mike casually since 1993, and if if Mike is lifetime natural, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind, that if he had hit the gear hard, he would have been a mutiple WSM winner and one of the strongest men that ever lived.

Either way, dude looks great for 40 yrs old... or for that matter 20 yrs old.

Yeah, decided to keep it. I don't drive it much b/c of the fuel costs. Here is a pic from one of my birthday parties. Go figure....one designated driver & then everyone else just fits in somehow/some way.

Who do you think was the d/d? It definitely wasn't me.

Good ppl are hard to come by these dayz. Anyway, from left to right....Michelle & Roy (yeah he claims that his hand was "up in there"), Jimmy (my guy), Me, Matt & Chrissy (I performed their marriage ceremony on 7/4/05 and of course Big Mikey, former WWE wrestler Bart Gunn of the Smokin' Gunns & our "7th wheel". He loves it b/c all the girlz feel sorry for him that he is there with no one. Smart guy. We have so many memories & I am so glad that the Hummer cannot speak.

Big Mike, his 1st born son Mikey Jr. has just been taken off life support. Mikey Jr. and his friend were cleaning their guns. The friend didn't realize he still had a round going on, it went off & Mikey Jr. is history just like that. Big Mike is one of my best friends. I feel so bad for him.

big difference -this time around AMERICAN GLADIATORS is on a major network
previously it was syndicated --it looks like NBC is riding the coat tails of the "reality" phenom
and is incredibly lucky that there is a writers strike going on
Network or not - still looks cheesy - it will get the WWE crowd and other high IQ folks

NBC is putting the American Gladiators into high promotion and marketing over the next few weeks. Everyone will know about the show, and it is a good presence for the IFBB and NPC, considering that more than half of them are involved or were involved in some way with the organizations. In the videos I did with them and for the mainstream audience and press, it makes the IFBB and NPC look good.

If the show even does decent ratings, another season will be in order very soon.

Are you saying that Kim Lyons' success on NBC is what led to so many IFBB/NPC women being selected for new roles on NBC?

Alex Castro was not involved in the IFBB/NPC, but he presence just increased the viewership of quite a number of people out there, if you think about it. Still, I don't think they were happy to know that he did those type of pictures.

Kim Lyon's is certainly a great role model, but I think it is that the IFBB/NPC has a great talent pool to choose from.

Wow as I read everyone's comments....it's pretty obvious that we have some HATERS up in here. Jealousy is ugly you guys...and why is everyone so obsessed with Mike? Is he on steroids? Who knows...I'm sure he's done them at some point....but uhhh who hasn't in the bodybuilding industry...stop acting so shocked about it. That doesn't mean he's still not athletic. Ya'll just mad b/c he looks good and the perfection of his looks burns the jealous rage inside of you hahahaha!

I think the show will do very well, the set is very impressive and their outfits do not look any more "gay" than the original gladiator outfits. Any type of athletic competion will draw a crowd and it's all real! Ofcourse they are going to change it up...why the hell would they put them in the same outfits and use the old set??

We'll see how it does once it airs.....bottom line this is an awesome opportunity for all the Gladiators and it's really cool that a lot of them are from the Bodybuilding and Fitness industry.
