Aids in absorbtion into the body.  There is a sticky on ephedrine in this page. I posted a study on the effects of grapejuice and certain drugs.  Not sure if you ever read warnings on prescription meds but a lot state NOT to drink grapefruit juice with the meds because there is a compound in it that makes you absorbe more than double the drug.  I used to pop in an ephedrine, drink a cup of cold coffee then down a cup of grapefruit juice.  Dude.  I was in the best shape of my like.  Veins popping out of my abs, tight, it was amazing.  Of course as years go by it gets harder to lean up like that.  But that combo was mint.

In Indiana you can get ephedrine hcl at the gas station. 25 mg per pill 24 count box about 13.00...those are get'n harder to find as they are cutting them back to 12.5 mg per pill for same price. They also have 200 mg guaifenesin. I remember when a 250 count bottle was $ 5.99  25 mg ephedrine with only 100 mg Guaifenesen

Plain ephedrine is pretty common, and is perfectly legal. You can even buy ephedra legally from regular nutrition sites. No biggy!

I believe some states are still regulating it if I'm not mistaken, California being one of them.  I could be wrong on that though, but that was the last I heard.

yep in Indiana you have to sign for it now. They are doing this to keep track of who buys it so they can crack down on meth labs.
