Well the squeeze is on.   Don't the feds have anything else to do than hassle this guy.  We all know that 3/4 of all pro athletes  are on the juice.  Maybe we should just shut down all professional sports....  Oh Yeah, and Wrestling too.  Hek, many cops are on the juice.

Would have been much cheaper to just drop a bag of coke in his car when valet parking and then bust him after he left the place....it's just too easy.

No shit my brother Squad...  Thats what I said, don't the feds have bigger worries.  Hell, they probably spent millions on investigating bonds as well.  Its all a waste just the same.

Does anyone know if there is any place on the net that gives a valid explanation on why and how steroids are/were classified as a criminal offense? Who was behind this and why didn't anyone speak up in rebuttal? How many actual roid users have been incarcerated? (That alone appears to be a travesty of Justice when alcohol alone is responsible for more deaths nationally.)  Or do they just lock up the suppliers? How come the drug manufacturers are not held accountable for distribution methods?

I do recall reading about this subject once in Rick Collin's "Legal Muscle" publication but it was only mentioned briefly and did not list all the parties who were involved to make it illegal and a criminal offense.

I seem to recall that it was pushed through by some Congressman whose son complained about the physical and "unfair" enhancement of some of his football playing team-mates at Annapolis. (I believe that the IOC offered some legal backing in this regards.) And I believe that the AMA was the sole organization who recommended against making roids illegal.

I'm now sorry that I lent that book to someone who is now incarcerated and did not return it before being locked up.

I did some brief searching without any luck. Can anyone refer me to accurate details?

One friend of mine was arrested for receiving roids via US mail and although he did not go to jail, the Feds pushed him through bankruptcy with legal maneuvers. Is there anyone in the US fighting against this apparent "injustice"?

There are rules in pro baseball.  He is being charged 4 counts of lying to a grand jury and obstruction of justice.
