Not to sound insensitive, but couldn't AIDS almost be defeated in the United States if it was Illegal for people with AIDS to have children, and outlaw them from having sex with anyone but other people with AIDS?

It doesn't sound insensitive, just naive. I don't mean that as an insult, just an observation.

Making it illegal then brings into play the idea of forced sterilizations and forced abortions.

In addition, it has been shown that that not all HIV infections are created equal. There are many different strains of the virus, some more virulent than others, and multiple exposures simply increases an individual's chances of developing full blown AIDS.

In addition, there are those psycopaths who care not for others in society, and who upon diagnosis have actively sought to infect as many as possible. I think the only solution is one where the indivdual protects themself against this scourge as best they can. Of course, ...it doesn't help when sleazy pharmaceutical companies infect worldwide populations en masse for the sake of corporate profits, ...or when governments knowingly turn a blind eye to it. I can't believe that to this day the Bayer Pharmaceutical company is still in business.

No.  There are people out there with far LESS skeletons than the guys running.

Look at Mitt - spent years as a pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-gun guy... and he had 6 illegal refuge cities in his state.
