both total bullshit, in reality Tebow benches 300-315 and the other guy cleans 285-295, still very good lifts, hahahahahahahaaaaa, 520 pound hang clean, hahaha, if he did that he'd be a top world class superheavyweight Olympic lifter. ::)

LMAO, "dov" strikes again.

I love how he logs off and runs away like a chickenshit when he starts to get owned.  Oh well, we'll be waiting for him when he comes back. ;) >:(

He couldn't hold a football anymore, his arms would be on the ground still attached to the bar. Do  you have any idea how heavy a 500 lb + clean would be?

No, I couldn't imagine that, but apparently according to "dov" this is common practice with some people. ::)

exactly.  Hang cleans are usually harder to get big weights on than cleans straight from the floor because you don't get that added momentum from exploding off the floor.  So, if he hang cleans 520, he could theoretically clean in the mid to high 500s from the floor.

In other words, he would be almost as strong as "thewickedtruth"

Tebow weighs 235 and is as strong as an ox.  Nike camp, rivals, lots of reports of him benching over 400. Its pretty easy to believe, havent you seen him run over linebackers ?

hahahaha, and what do you claim Tebow benches ? 310 ? he did more than that in high school. I just read an article on that tonight, as he just won the Heisman.

Look at this kids pic, no way he is doing 450. He would have much more shoulder, pec and tricep mass if he did. Football players inflate their numbers ALL THE TIME! From how much they weigh to how much they lift. What's scarier, a 5 foot 11, 205 pound Tebow who can bench 310 and run a 5.5, 40 or a 6 foot 2, 235 pound beast who benches 450 and runs a 4.7,40. He's probably not the one inflating the numbers though, it's the coaches I'm sure.

He did 225 for 25 reps at Florida, and he did 185 for 41 reps tops at Nike Camp after his senior year of high school.  A 400 bench is very brlievable for a guy that weighs 235 and carries linebackers around like they are rag dolls.  Hes a beast.

hahahhaa, don't bother explaining it man, to some of the guys on here 19 year old College kids are benching 455 for reps and doing hang cleans with weights that would make Hossein Rezadazeh's arms break. ::)

Exactly. It looks like the kid has 16 inch arms in the pics above, 450, not even close. And who here has ever lifted with football players? I bench the weight while you deadlift the weight and that still counts, hahahaha!! I went to school with a kid who swore up and down he could do 315. When I finally got him in the gym away from the school, he got buried by 225! Tebow's an awesome player though, he won't do anything in the NFL though. Florida is built around a specific system on offense, and no one in the big leagues does anything even close. Danny Wuerful was the last qb from Florida to take the Heisman, he sells insurance down by the river now!

yea, a 235 pound guy who does 225 for 25 reps cant bench 400 ?  ::)  Ive seen tow naturals at around 210 pounds do that when i was in college.

Youre nuts if you think Tebow can only bench 310 pounds.

no video or picture yet? shoot a heisman winner with a 455 bench press should have a video clip up somewhere of this feat of strength? i know, i know, "he doesn't think it's a big deal to bench 455 so he didn't film it, there are 65 guys in his gym who bench 500 or more, if you trained once in awhile you'd see that" ::)

hahahhaa, we had a big bench press liar here in St. Louis for a few years, Adam Archuleta claimed he could bench press 535 as a free safety looking like a typical 180 pound suburban skater kid and when he was asked about it he admitted it was actually a bench press machine that supposedly "measured force". ::)
