and the third strongest player on the entire Florida Gator roster, ahead of offensive and defensive lineman-yes id say that adds up to a 400 pound bench..........EASILY.      ;D

What's a Sars? Whatever dude, I'm done arguing with you. Good luck getting back TO BENCHING 500 and good luck in your future cage fighting endeavors. I'm off to watch football before the gym. I'm doing dropsets today with yellow and pink dumbells flyes and then some 135 pound benches for sets of 3 today,my heavy day! HAHAHA

Ive got a 500 pound bench and when i cage fight, many times the holds i use when grappling are much more forceful-and break an opponents will due to that 500 pound bench...............so Yes, my weightlifting muscle makes me a more dangerous fighter.

Not a gimmick account bro. I'm not Squad or Sarcasm or whoever you think I am, my counterpart, thewickedtruth can vouch for that. And I agree with you on your point 225 for 28 CLEAN REPS would easily be a 400 bench, but 225 for 28 University of Florida Gators Sloppy Reps would be a 350 or 375 at best bench. I'm an SEC fan, so I'm not picking on them either. You got to be these statements into context. Lift weights with a football player and you will see what I mean.

Just out of curiosity,

how much do you think Reggie Bush could bench??

At the NFL combines, he did 225 x 24 times!!!  At a bodyweight of 203!!  ;)
just not good enough

sgt. d

exactly, people greatly exaggerate their max bench number off of their 225 for reps.

Yup.  I tried 365 about a month ago and got 3 ASSISTED reps, and I know if I was watching someone else do what I did, I would've been laughing at him.

And while we're on the subject, 315 behind the neck even on the smith machine... no f'n way, and neither can whoever is claiming to.

it's almost impossible to guess based off of a rep-out that's above 10 since endurance doesn't mean much to strength the higher the reps get.

i hit around 20-21 reps with 225 after my heavy sets on a good day (never tried it fresh), max is around 340 with a pause. someone else might only hit 15 with 225 but get 365 for a single, another guy might be able to grind out reps all day but not have much by way of heavy single strength.

Gee, your name is SirTraps, which would infer that you have large muscles, and yet 225 for 30 is "out of your league"?  You must fall short of your name by miles.
Just because you cant do it....
And I'm not a gimmick, and fwiw, when I was 15 I was training at Westside barbell  :-X
