weht great looking and cool bb magazine covers?

whatever happened to the great looking and cool magazine cover photos of the bb mags look from like the 80's and 90's? both musclemag, flex and others used to have great photos of great looking females (fitness models)paired up with either a top male pro or upcoming pro in outdoor settings (pools,beaches, doing an activity) or at least in a unusual,sexy, interesting way.

these mag covers seemed to try to promote bb as both healthy and sexy.

now you have mags like flex or musclemag or MD which have the full page cover of one of the pros lifting a weight? which frankly scares 90 percent of the population seeing a full page cover of a huge monster on it's cover?

did the bb mags just stop a decade ago with the male/female pairing and trying to promote the bb industry at all? or at least a healthy lifestyle? is that the reason? they just figured "what the hell we need to cater strictly to hardcore bb crowd since the public has turned away from bb 10 years ago due to the scandal of steroids, the huge monstrous size physiques,etcetera.

its bodybuilding..who gives a fuck about appealing to everyone..does nascar appeal to everyone, does hockey appeal to everyone, does fucking basketball appeal to everyone? no, they should be putting huge dudes lifting weight on the cover, scare all  the little bitches away.

Additionally, the huge dudes should be wearing winter boots, a winter hat, sunglasses, workout gloves, ripped jean shorts, suspenders, and an unbuttoned lumberjack shirt.

they still do that on muscle and fitness.  forget the 80's and 90's though.  MD got rid of the babes to focus more on hardcore bodybuilding

Ironman Magazine tries occassionally (see sample below), but most of their shots are like the other magazines and are taken in the studio. 

I agree with you.  Sure would be good to go back to the old style shots on the beach, outdoors, etc.
