Makes sense, I was at the Arnold and some of the "routines" where down right embarrassing.   People where going crazy when the guy who won the best posing routine was gyrating all over the place.  That kind of stuff might work for their other career in gay for pay or as male dancers but its disgusting on a bodybuilding stage.( it could be indicative of the worst elements of bodybuilding becoming mainstream)  It would be alright if it was present only occasionally but its at every bodybuilder.  The black bodybuilders dance around to bad r&b and the white bodybuilders either play heavy metal or classical.  Its all the same.  But then again, what else can you do that this point.
I don't know about you but i thought Wheeler was getting a little too close for Ronnies comfort in some of those poses.

Flex's FDB was masterful though. Coleman in a distant third in this shot.

Seeing these photos I can not understand why Ronnie won.  Kevin and even Nassar look more symmetrical.  Ronnie is the most overrated bodybuilder of all time.

Wheeler looked great, in fact he was the 2nd best BB of the last few decades there, better than Yates, Haney, etc.

Problem is when you look at the direct comparisons Coleman and Wheeler look very similar except for a few areas where Coleman blows him away-back width, shoulder width, quad size for example. Coleman also had noticably more biceps detail AND didn't have the synthol issue.

Close, since Wheeler's the 2nd best BB of the last few decades, but Coleman beat him decisively in several areas.

From the front, Ronnie was 2nd-4th. But his back was so dominant and his condition was so superior that he could not be denied.

Clearly delusional since Yates defeated him easily every time. Yates' psychological influence on Wheeler caused the infamous ninja "attack"  ::)

I see what your saying about his back, it was always one if not the most impressive of his body parts. God, from the front he looks awful.  His gut looks like a foot ball, distended and sticking out on the sides.

Agreed. From the front Ronnie was not very impressive compared to his 98 peers. Coleman lacked the size at this point in his career to overcome his structural and aesthetic flaws compared to his peers. The massive gyno also was very distracting.

After seing the video, Ronnie wasn't the "hands-down" winner.

Very close between him, flex, nasser and levrone.

I was never a huge Nassar fan but seeing him next to ronnie, he is just as big with better shape.  Anybody have a back comparison between the two.

I'd have to say either 98 or 93 was the greatest Olympia ever. The quality of the competitors in these fields were outstanding!

bullshit he owned them all from the back. nasser has no back, hams, or arms. levrone had no legs. flex is filled with oil.

Hope this helps

Kevin was taller than Ronnie in those pictures.  Kevin was notorious for standing closer to the cameras than his competition.

Yeah.  That's why he has so many Olympia wins and...wait...what?

Flex NEVER won an Olympia?  What's that you say?  Never even showed up to the O in his best shape?

Oh.

 ;)

Levrone-closest to Ronnie, even in back and didn't have to shoot gallons of oil like Nasser and Wheeler.  Thick all over and should have Mr. O titles from Doz and Ronnie era.  2002 was his greatest screwing against a shit Ronnie.  He may have lacked back detail but early on he had width and thickness to always be a contender

Flex-full of oil, wasn't ripped after 93 (something Yates pointed out), trained like a pussy and never beat Dorian or Yates from the front or back.

Nasser-shit back full of oil, biceps courtesy of Exxon.  Disparity in oily BPs and regular ones is clear and back went downhill in 98

Pobrecito, 1995 was a better Olympia than 1993. It had Dorian and Kevin at their career bests, Nasser at 275 lbs and guys like Ray were still competing.
