Having the guy incarcerated for almost two years without him being sentenced, is this some kind of banana republic?

I have to assume that all this stalling shit is due to that Titus may actually walk.

Good point.  Wouldn't surprise me that something like that would happen in good old Gulag, USA.

PS - Melissa probably died of a drug overdose and they just burned the car.
