Sorry, but that seems to be a bit of a stretch. I know Mike is your friend and all and you gotta pump his personae, but let's not make ridiculous speculations here.

Another important note (and one that points to current phenoms like Evan Centopani, etc. who hail from CT and east Coast locales):

Joe Weider used to implore Mike Katz to please move to the West Coast.

Mike was a teacher, and would venture to Venice when on Summer break.

Thus, Joe's direct access to him was limited.

It was always said that Mike would have won the Universe (lost overall to Corney in Baghdad in 72), America(Beat Pete Caputo, Pete Grymkowski) and World (in which he beat Waller at Brooklyn Academy of Music) much EARLIER in his career if he'd had only lived in Venice.

Now, I am unsure as to if the same limitations/constraints apply to Centopani et, al.

It'd be worth his while to plant himself in the most productive location that begets bb success.

Regarding Centopani, Mike feels he will be Mr. Olympia within 3-5 years.

He is all-American in look and personage, carries no felonious baggage; is well spoken; educated; maintains a full time job along with many newfound bb duties/responsibilites; and will represent bb in a more presentable way.

Agree?
