Ron Paul earned $6 million in one day.

THe money came from all over the USA.   55,000 donors donated 6 mil in 24 hours.

And, 24 thous of those donors were FIRST TIME donors.

This campaign flies coach, eats in diners.  Stays in Best Western while the other guys stay in luxury suites.

The money?
They're going to blend old and new techniques.  TV, direct mail, etc.  Using the internet too.

THe motivation behind the donations?
Most are disgruntled republians who want Peace, freedom, prosperity.
And, firsttime voters who see someone unlke the status quo.

Tucker: Washington Post has a one-paragraphe writeup on page A47, after Paul shattered the one-day earnings for candidates.  If Rudy had done it, likely front page news.

ABC refused to play the John Stossel/ Ron Paul interview.

Paul's camp claimed the mainstream media might be a "little behind" what everyone else is thinking.  Is he right?

If the money is what matters, why do the polls lag?

Because of their current love affair with Obama.

I try not to pay attention to the polls. I mean, have you been polled? I know I havn't. Who the heck does anyway?

I have a lot of hope in RP right now. I just learned that something like 10% of people voted in the primaries in 2004 and Paul supporters are moving in swarms at the moment. And we know if he wins the ticket, it's game over.
