Pollux, that pool shot has been saved to My Pics. Dunno about flawless, though. Those black trunks kinda diminish his package.

Pollux! A while ago I started a thread asking if anyone had the old pic of Mike Katz with a Coca-Cola can balanced on his chest. No-one did, or at least, no-one who was willing to share LOL!

Do you know how many issues of the July 1968 Muscle Builder/Power may have been printed back in the day?  I just purchased a copy.  It wasn't an easy item to find.  How many of these issues do you think are still around that are in decent shape?

Hmmmm...for that particular, it's hard to say how many there were on the newsstand, or any other Muscle/Builder Power magazine. My guess is not many. But how much is "not many" - 5 issues on a newsstand, 10 issues? Who knows...

As for my opinion as to how many of the July '68 issue are still around in decent shape, well, probably more than we think! Everyone knows that this is Arnold's very first cover and a very sought after issue so those that are in good shape are more likely than not being kept by the owner.

I too have the July '68 issue that is in mint condition! I hit the jackpot at a garage sale when I obtained a lot of very rare vintage Arnold magazines.

I congratulate you on owning the July '68 issue. You now own the issue everyone wants!  8)

I think it was a wise decision of Arnold's always to wear high-waisted trunks when competing.

The apparent shortening of the body makes for the illusion of longer legs, a chunkier torso, and perfect upper/lower body balance.

The chunky-torso illusion is similar to the slouched-football-socks look, which some guys use to give the impression of fuller calves.

I'm one of them LOL! My calves are good, but the socks make them sooperdooper!
