Got this via mail

This piece of newspaper was issued in Bahrain and stated that the president of the Bahrain bodybuilding federation told the newspaper that Tariq did fail the test but we still didn’t receive anything official from the IFBB.

If any arabs are around; please translate

This is the reply by Tariq al farassani him self  in the newspaper telling that this is all bullshit and he promise to win the gold medal in 2008 just to shutup all the sick people , also he menioned where is the media from his achivements nobody said anything when he got the gold medal and he didnt get any awards for his achivements but when this rumors came the media turn around and published it in the news pares without any prooves or official reports ??? what is the reason am i a 3rd degree citizen ?? i know that all of these things are from sick people who works for others benefit rather than there country beneft which there main goal is to change the place of 208 worldchampionship which is officially in bahrain .But i promise to be the best team in 2008 we will have an iron team hopefully.

Didn’t know Muslims celebrated Christmas or New Year; right back at ya

This just in Eduardo Correa (Brazil) who won the 85KG tested positive in the doping test

The ironic part of the whole thing is that each of the top 3 teams Egypt, Brazil and Bahrain

Brazil was a team that was promised a gold medal for José Carlos Santos; and that is why Anwar Amawy from Egypt and Sazali Samad from Malaysia were forced to change their weight categories but it back fired on Eduardo

Bahrain was promised a gold medal; that’s why the Qatar team was banned to take out mainly Ali Tabreezi yet they got 2 medals but one of them failed the test.

Awkward!!!

guys    i am an American living in bahrain . i have been there for the past four years for work. i am also a competitive bodybuilder. i train at the same gym as tariq and the rest of the bahrain federation does. you can sit there all day and say the reason they win is because they bribe. show proof.        how do they have enough money to bribe when the federation doesn't have enough money to do local bodybuilding competitions. this year they had to cancel the bahrain competition cause they don't have the funds to do so. why do you guys rant on them so much? is it because they win? with tariq as my trainer and nutritionist i was able to qualify for the 2008 nationals in November in the u.s. put these rumors to rest, cause no one so far has shown proof.  if one day proof is shown which i highly doubt,  ill be the first one on the board to say i was wrong and apologise

You are totally right, I highly respect your statement, because you wrote the fact. How can a country like Bahrain with low outcome to buy medals or bribe for it.

For all those who wrote against bahrain federation I want to tell all , than you I never say anthing about what you wrote the reason , because you are not living in the Kingdom, and not aware about the bahrain team. The Federation is the first one in the region, and participated since 1976 in the international events, and won in 1976 the first medal in the sport of bodybuilding in Arab & middle east Championship in Cairo, then participated in Mr. Universe in Manila to get experience, then in Asian championship from 1981 till today. To reach to the Gold medals after a good plan and hard work is not impossble , and all the Bahrain national team from Bahrain ( They are Bahrainies ).

Bahrain sports as general we have funds problems in all sports, as we are the first country in all the sport, as will as education, pertrol, but near coutry their income 500% more than us for this reason they are in higher positin than us except the bodybuilding . Because our President was a bodybuilder and has future vision and with good plan.

My respect to all of you and Wishing you all of you A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008 and we must put all what happened in 2007 at our back in order to reach to our Goal.

Kamikaze Paul: you come up with pretty delusional equations … Bahrain team didn’t get the cash for the airfare fro the ministry … as the team stated in our local newspaper … so that gives you a basic idea of what kind of financial situation they are in ...

Bahrain was dominate in Asia for the past 5 years … so it was obvious that their next project will be dominating the world championship … even though I am from Bahrain … I tried my best to be neutral in what I just said

Sacha:  congrats on your qualification

YOU ARE TOTALY RIGHT, THE BAHRAIN FEDERATION CONCENTRATING ON WORLD BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIP, AND THEY WANT TO ORGANIZE ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL EVEN IN THE HISTORY OF IFBB.
THE LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP WILL COST ABOUT 70000 US$, AND WHY TO SPEND SUCH AMOUNT OF MONEY , AND THEY WANT TO HOST THE IFBB CHAMPIONSHIP.
AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE THE BAHRAIN FEDERATION HAVE TRANSPARANCY AND WANT TO ORGANIZE THE EVENT UNDER PATRONAGE H.M. THE KING.  THIS WILL BE A GREAT HONOR FOR BAHRAIN FEDERATION.
IN 2004 BAHRAIN ORGANIZED ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ASIAN BB CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE HISTORY OF ABBF, IN SPITE THE EVENT WAS LIVE SHOW AND MORE THAN 12000 WAS IN THE HALL - 1 EXHIBITION CENTER .
WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY HOLIDY AND NEW YEAR.

“I need protection from all these dangers (People who want things their way and who confront you in all sorts of ways. Sweet talk, money, intimidation…)
Like, for instance, the offer of bribes and death threats at both the SEA Games in Vietnam and the Asian Games in Doha last year.
At big events like the Asian Games or the SEA Games, I dread for my life.” Chua confessed!
“In the dead of night, I once received a call in Ho Chi Minh City during the 2003 SEA Games warning me that my life was in danger if I didn’t give a competitor the gold medal.
I’ve been offered bribes of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
It’s big money in some countries just to win a gold medals.
But not for me. What’s the use of accepting it in the quiet and, a week later, maybe finding your head decapitated and delivered to your home by mail?”

“No, I refused to comply. I spurned their offer and ditched their game.
You might think it’s no big deal but I was in foreign shores. Nobody’s there to help me in case things got out of hand.
During the 2006 Asian Games, the caller had a Middle-Eastern accent and a very intimidating tone. “You will not see daylight tomorrow if you don’t award so and so the gold medal”
I couldn’t take it anymore. I just broke down and told IFBB chief Ben Weider that I was going to resign.”

As if being targeted abroad was not enough, Chua also received brickbats and charges of corruption from various quarters within Asian community – especially when certain favourites failed to win honours in big competitions and the consequent bribing didn’t work.

See Milos you have to play the game the way Paul Chua does. Next time offer his replacement some money. I heard you have a spare $2,500 why not turn that into a gold medal?

Today it was announced that the doping test and all the information that I posted is true.

Tarek was tested positive for Methanolon and it was announced by the IOC toady.
Not to sound rude; but you were all defensive against me even though I never said anything to offend you.

Now I am waiting for my apologies

kamikaze Paul ( Blacksmith + Amini )

I would like to congratulate you for your news about doping test of Tareq, you tried to trap him at the end you succeded, If B sample will be positive then he will banned for 2 years ONLY and will be back to the IFBB stage if he will follow the IFBB rules and regulation, BUT you never will be back till you alive , do you know why , BECAUSE you had violated the IFBB rules more than 100 times.

It is shame for you and your kind of people to spiol one your country name,  we are all from the same coutry which we born, study, and live. Remove your dirty mask and write your real name if you are realyy love your native land and have loyality to your government and land.
