I like Chuck but I think he's done, 38 years old, getting KO'ed by Rampage, losing against Jardine... I don't think he's able to handle those kinda losses and that pressure at this stage in the game! And then facing THE AXE MURDERER!  :o

IT'S GONNA BE A SLUGFEST THAT WILL LAST LESS THAN 2 MINUTES OF THE FIRST ROUND AND THE ICEMAN WILL MELT! AND...

I wish neither had to lose.  I'm pulling for Chuck more than Wandi, but I believe Wandi has more options to win this fight.  All Chuck has is his striking game.  Jardine showed that if Chuck doesn't connect, he has nothing else...

They both looked like shit. Fight was exciting but both of these guys are over the hill and it showed. UFC and mma in general needs some new blood badly.

good fight.

smart fight by chuck. used the octagon great to his advantage. got the eye of the tiger. wand doesnt. the old wand is gone forever. another pride fighter thats got nothing in the ufc.

He almost got ko'ed like three times and even got floored pretty badly. Neither looked like a contender tonight, but two old guys that were out of shape and went out there and flailed around hoping to land lucky punches.

I figured it was 50/50 going into the fight. Wandy's really fallen from grace in the last 2 years. An era of dominance coming to a close.  :'(

yeah it wasnt an easy pick. i thought wands losses was more acceptable than chucks. getting ko by crocops left leg and the way he was knocked out against henderson wasnt too much to be ashamed of.

chucks loss against rampage was ok too. but his performance against jardine was the big disappointment for me. i thought it would fuck him up mentally and being 38 considering retiring so i didnt think his drive would be there.

but wand doesnt have the eye of the tiger anymore. and big disadvantag being in the cage, not being able to corner his opponent and use his clinch game/knees.

Well with Hendo going down to 185 and considering Liddell is still twice the draw of Rampage he will get a title shot in 2008. I'd like to see him win, who knows.
