tiny waist but ugly abs and no arms

one of the best torso's in bb history.  his arms were a little weak and didnt match the torso, but no one in the 80s had incredible arms like you saw in the 70s and 90s.

Everyone forgets him. I think it didn't help that he came after Arnold. Arnold was the most charismatic man alive and Lee was a religious nutter with huge lats. Also, Dorian stole his historical thunder by ushering in the era of the HGH freak.

An important cog in the white guy/black guy Olympia machine and probably underrated.

Seems like Lee Haney just did his thing for personal pride and to make his wife and family proud; nothing more.  I don't recall him ever having aspirations of "going Hollywood" or anything like that.  He just seemed to want to be happy, be a positive role model for kids and "do God's work" (even though I'm not a church-going man, I still respect that a lot).  He's pretty much accomplished all of that.

Lee Haney; the forgotten man of modern bodybuilding.

This 'jesus freak' gave nothing to this sport.  His 'christian rants' and 'talk of family' grew tedious and tiresome.

Haney had no problem with abusing just about every drug under the sun, yet continued to preach the virtues of 'clean and wholesome' living.

Hank where you been hiding? You were missed...I agree about Haney...He shit on bodybuilding when he got his gold...Took his riches and moved on....Hardly what one would think that a Mr. OLympia would have done...Is it true that he loved his Atlanta Ho's? Say it isn't so...He always seemed like such the family man...To me, Haney is good in my book...Of course he was never a Shawn Ray who showed pure perfection, but he had the best back to ever grace the olympia stage pre Hates/coleman...
