At my old gym we had an IFBB pro figure competitor and a top NPC male heavyweight.
There's still quite a few people who compete at the amateur level.
Two went to the Jr. Nationals in Chicago a couple of years back.

Most of the people from that gym consistently placed well in their respective shows.

Damn ninja turtle will never be mr o...  maybe Victor, maybe Wolf, or maybe Heath if he either adds mass or they adjust the judging criteria, but not Dex.  He's kind of in a strange situation, because he'll never finish worse than 3rd, yet he'll never win the title either and everyone knows it.

Well, he was pretty crazy back in the day from articles I have read. Seems very mild-mannered now. He is still VERY wide and wears workout clothes from the 80's. I talked to him a few times. HE said he was training at or training people at Bev Francis gym in syosset, LI,  but gets tons of questions, so he came to my gym because no one knows who he is. My gym is all old people and chicks. He helped me out with arms a little here and there. Nice guy.
