lol, a few months ago one of my friends was walking from his work (Bell Tower) to a parking lot just north of Baccarat Casino...people who work around bell tower often park in that shitty area becasue it's free as opposed to approx. $15/day parking at Bell...so he was walking there at 10:30ish pm and three bums confronted him and told them to give his laptop that he was carrying in a case around his shoulder...he just dismissed it as dumb bumbs, told them to F-off, and walked by, until suddenly one of them smoked in the back of his head with a pipe of some sort.  He fell and they kicked him a few times but until some other dudes across the street started yelling at them and scared them off.  They didnt get his laptop since it was wrapped around his shoulder and then he fell on it after the blow...but he had to be taken to the hospital...had a minor surgery the week later...so yeah I'm quite familiar with that area! 

Now he bites the bullet and pays $10-$15/day to park elsewhere
