the only saving grace is that the Ron Paul generation - or the 50 million young people who are pissed about the inside job - will not fall for another.

they couldn't pull that shit with Iran because we would have called bullshit.  Countries often do self-attacks every 20 or 30 years to justify starting a war.  Russia does it, germany did it, mexico did it a few years ago on a small scale.  the ends justify the means in the eyes of the nations planners.

Our kids aren't going to fall for that bullshit again.  The louder the 911 kids are - even tho there will never be any justice - the longer it'll be before another attack like that.

Bush cites "IEDs" as a reason to attack Iran.  ::)  It's just a crazy coincidence that he ONLY wants to attack allegedly dangerous countries WITH trillions of dollars in resources though right?

The main thing stopping Bush and his friends from taking over completely is the strength of the American middle class.  Also, the internet makes it so much harder to lie to the masses these days.

enviornmental.

No clue what the fuck this means, but ok.  ???

My god, the idea of another 9/11 is nightmarish! Those of us who keep a critical watch on this shit will indeed not have a second guess about it. How will we react? ???

Ron Paul is a saint. He may or may not win the big one, but either way, we win. The message is out there now and if you think about it, it can only spread.

"A new consciousness is developing which sees the earth as a single organism and recognizes that an organism at war with itself is doomed."

That quote gave Debussey goosebumps. It probably came from Gary himself.

There's no such thing as death. Remember, energy can't be created or destroyed. Consciousness lives forever. You merely break free of your casing and return the the source.

Believe it or not, here's a story of one man's incredible near death experience: www.mellen-thomas.com/stories

Keep in mind he's not trying to sell anything.

Thought and behavior is what's tied to the brain. The universe itself is a consciousness. Quantum physics has already confirmed for a fact that everything in the universe is essentially precipitated thought and bits of information, at a subatomic level. It's as if the infinitely vast spectrum of the universe is the thought of some divine mind. Talk about redefining God!

We have no way of confirming that. The brain might access consciousness, but we do not know if the brain is the source of consciousness, or if the brain just access consciousness. If that = the case, consciousness = an external thing.

So who created him?

A circular and ignorant argument......try again.

Time is an illusion created by the mind so we can count and time things. Don't rule out the concept of infinity. If the universe is an infinite pool of galaxies, and perhaps far out enough, galaxies of galaxies, we can imagine that time itself is irrelevant.

Of course this creator would have to be even more complex in order to create something that complex, so he too must also have a creator, since that level of complexity couldn't possibly exist without one.

Personally I believe in 16 creators.

Nope there are only twelve.

Yeah, see...the problem with that is there is more proof from legit archeological findings (yes, by secular archeologists) that match the books of the Bible.....science can't say that.

Joe, the bible is overflowing with obnoxious contradictions.  How could anyone with half a brain base their entire life philosophy on a book that is so clearly fucked up???

How fucked up it really is only reflects the effect it had on humanity for generations.

If we should learn one thing about the bible, it should be to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The principles of each religion are very similar and filled with human love and compassion... but it got hijacked somewhere along the way. Edited for our manipulation.

I watched a 30 minute video interview of his and he's brilliant. I'm going to the library this week to see if they have any books of his.

Sufism... hmm I'll check it out. I have no idea what that is.

hahah Atheist since I was 8 all up until this past September. The idea that an infinite sea of spiraling galaxies came about by accident is just as absurd as the idea that there's an invisible man in the sky who sends you to burn in hell for eternity if you disobey a commandment yet love you at the same time.

A quote:

Effort, Stretching and Straining
From 'Knowing how to Know' Idries Shah

When people have a hard task to do - one which stretches them - they become less concerned with trivial matters. If you have not registered this yet, observe it in yourself and in others, and you will see that it is true.

When there is an emergency, for example, something which takes up a great deal of attention, triviality is reduced.

In order to enable people to be less trivial, and to tackle things which really help them develop, they should undertake tasks which provide the right kind and degree of stretching.

People who have achieved great things, genuinely effective accomplishments, will be found to have done so through this method: stretching.

When it goes wrong, people apply stress, not stretching. Stress is damaging and does not product constructive results.

Mistaking stretching for straining: labour for exercise, is what causes a great deal of trouble.

When triviality disappears, even temporarily, people are able to work at a higher level. This is true of all kinds of human endeavour: it is to be seen in attainment of all kinds and also even in a social milieu: people who are less trivial are more respected.
