Is "Bodybuilding" the new "Skateboarding"??
« on: January 08, 2008, 02:23:06 PM »
With youngsters like James "I cut myself if you pm me" Phoenix, Bluto or "Chick" posting here, i more and more get the impression that bodybuilding is the new "IN"-sports/lifestyle for teenagers to try to score chicks and overcome their puberty insecurity issues.

Plus, if you're around the gym with all the juicers, you're not the only on who's sprinkled with acne all over anymore and the mood changes of roid users also resemble that of a 16 years old borderliner.

Discuss please.

but bodybuilders can't hang out in front of supermarkets and have cool wallet chains like skateboarders, because the fanny pack gets in the way.

Ever seen "James Phoenix"?? Now BB can have that too. Well, they still look like skatboarders and also act like it, probably skate for cardio, but they surf getbig and want to get huge. (At least arms and chest, nobody sees legs anyways)  ::)

Sponsored skateboarders make (alot) more than sponsored bodybuilders.....and that includes the former and current Mr. Olympia's.

Brutal chest

Oh, if you found a chest, James posted that he misses one.

You can pm him but be careful, if you write too harsh, he cuts himself.

I don't think it is.

There's probably a lot of people that get in to it because of all the young mma fans now I'm guessing.

That's not my scene though.

I just do what I like to do, and bodybuilding happens to be one of those things.

I did used to skate.

For fucks sake James, can you emo's leave bodybuilding alone! we have enough issues in this sport, we dont need a bunch of goths fucking it more then it is, I dont want to see a "james Phoenix" cut himself just cause he couldnt complete a full rep, go play soccer or some shit...and all you guys do is curls anyway, keep out of the gyms, keep in the garage

I don't train in gyms Quickerblade; I train at home with a 35 dollar weight case I purchased at Walmart.

I know I'm not wanted around the Gym, so don't worry. You huge guys with your 700 pound squats are safe from viewing my femme self.

I feel that, it's much easier to concentrate at home anyway. I'm not worrying about what so-and-so is lifting, or trying to impress anyone with big numbers.

At home I can just focus on working the muscle and feeling the burn.
